Dog owners who travel or work long hours are a few examples, but there are many other situations in which the dog owner believes their dog would benefit from care, attention and activity they may not be able to provide at the moment. Drop-Off & Pick-Up Times Morning 7:00-10:00am Afternoon 4:00-7:00pm These times are designed to provide our clients with less daytime disruption while also limiting the amount of noise during the evening in respect to our neighbours.  Pre-Boarding Checklist Is your dog spayed/neutered? All dogs must be spayed or neutered in order to board at Michael Lake Kennel. This helps to insure the comfort and safety of your dog during their stay. Is your dog's vaccinations up to date? We request all dogs come accompanied with proof of up to date vaccinations including Bordetella (Kennel Cough) and Rabies. A copy of a receipt from your veterinarian works well, as long as it displays the vaccination administered and when it is next required.    Does your dog have a play-friendly collar? Half-choke chain collars are okay for walking, but are dangerous to wear while playing. We ask you bring a flat collar with identification on it, and a substitute collar if you prefer your dog be walked in something else. You are welcome to visit our facilities before you book your dog.
